At Chris Simpson Designs, we repair and restore jewellery in our on-site workshop in Wimborne, Dorset. Everything is done here, by hand, by us. Your piece never leaves the county.

 

We are not a high-street shop that sends work away. We have a fully equipped workshop right here in Wimborne, and Chris has been working at a jeweller's bench for over 30 years. We offer a free initial assessment. Bring your piece in, tell us what happened, and we will give you an honest view of what is involved before any work begins.

 

What we repair and restore: ring sizing, chain and bracelet repairs, stone replacement and re-tipping, rhodium plating, remodelling and redesign, general restoration.

 

How It Works: 1. Free assessment — bring your piece to the studio, no charge. 2. Agreement and timescale — we agree the scope of work, the price, and when it will be ready. 3. Work done in our Dorset workshop — your piece does not leave. 4. Collect and inspect — we are not satisfied until you are.

 

Over three decades of experience at the bench. We are local, transparent, and your piece stays with us throughout. If we cannot help, we will tell you honestly.
